1850 Restaurant at 5114 Yosemite All-Year Highway, Mariposa, California.

I love burgers. I order them frequently and enjoy trying them everywhere from higher-end restaurants to local dives. The Bootjack burger I ordered at 1850 is without a doubt one of the best, if not THE best burger I have ever had. It was unbelievable. It was juicy, cooked to a perfect medium, was excellently seasoned, and had great texture. I am not kidding, I have thought about writing this review for weeks, but have waited fearing I would think of a better burger after writing this one. Well, it has been over a month and it still stands alone. My wife ordered the salmon cake salad wrap, which was exceptional as well. You can tell that a chef works here, not just someone reheating pre-made food. If you ever have the pleasure of visiting Mariposa after a day in Yosemite, visit the 1850 restaurant!

Great burgers! If they are offering one that is not on the daily menu, get it, you can't go wrong. The small menu allows for great tasting food regardless of your choice. Daily specials are hard to beat, get it before it's gone!
